Here’s a hilarious video I wanted to share with you that spoofs the lingo-heavy way “experts” talk to you about cars. The lesson here: Don’t let a car dealer start spouting lingo about all of the super-duper, whiz-bang features in a car the dealer wants you to buy. They’re banking on the fact that if it sounds impressive you’ll be impressed. But what they’re really describing, in most cases, are basic features that would not be very impressive if they described them in plain English.
You should say, “Say it in English!” or “What the heck are you talking about?” Or better yet, you should let me — your automotive advocate — go deal with the lingo and get the deal done for you
