Do you hate used car salesmen? Do you hate the pressure tactics they use?
Follow these simple steps to say goodbye to them.
- Decide what you want before visiting any dealership … go to autotrader.com for ideas.
- Research the car before you go. Visit Kelly Blue Book, NADA Guides or Edmund’s and get all the information you need, find out what the true value of the car is, it’s reliability record, and it’s safety record.
- Always ask the dealer to look at the Carfax, this will tell you if the car has been in any accidents and the severity of them; was there structural damage or did the airbag deploy.
- Don’t rely on what the salesperson tells you, they’ll tell you what you want to hear not what you need to hear.
There’s not a lot you need to do before purchasing a used car but following these simple steps will ensure that you will get the best car for your budget. If you don’t have the time or don’t want to put up with dealing with a salesperson contact me, your Automotive Advocate and I will take the hassle out of this for you.
