I am Peter Huey, your Automotive Advocate.  As a former Honda Dealership owner and former President of the St. Louis Automotive Dealers Association, I know the automotive market in St. Louis.

I have been in the automotive business since 1987, starting out at Huey’s Carlson Honda in St. Louis  in the finance department.  At that time it was known as F & I (Finance and Insurance).   It was here that I worked on helping buyers secure financing for their car purchase if they needed it.  My next position was with our Oldsmobile store–Carlson Oldsmobile–where I worked as a Sales Manager then as General Manager. In 1995, Carlson Oldsmobile was sold and Huey’s Honda moved.  I worked as GM until 1999 when my father passed away and my brother and I became owners. We owned Huey’s Honda until 2009 when we sold the franchise.

Throughout my time working at the dealership level, one thing I was always told by friends and acquaintances is that people really dislike the  car buying process.  It’s a hassle to take the time and you don’t really know if you got a good deal or not.  Out of these feelings I started STL Auto Advocate. I will take the hassle and uncertainty out of the auto buying process for you.
